PMP Certification Instructor

BuildWithin is seeking an experienced, contract-based PMP Certification Instructor to lead a rigorous, cohort-based PMP preparation program delivered in partnership with George Washington University (GWU). The instructor will deliver live instruction, facilitate applied learning activities, and prepare participants to sit for the Project Management Professional (PMP) exam through structured content, practice assessments, and targeted exam strategies.

Program Schedule (Required Availability)

Program Dates: March 23 – April 24, 2026
Bootcamp (Week 1): March 23–27, 2026 (Mon–Fri), 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Evening Sessions: Mondays and Wednesdays, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM / March 30; April 1, 6, 8, 13, 15, 20, 22

Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

  • PMI Authorized Training Partner (ATP) Instructor credential (required).
  • Demonstrated experience teaching PMP exam preparation courses to adult learners (virtual and/or hybrid formats).
  • Strong facilitation skills and the ability to translate complex concepts into practical, accessible instruction.
  • Familiarity with current PMP exam domains and content areas (People, Process, Business Environment).
  • Proficiency with common instructional technology tools (Zoom, LMS platforms, Google Workspace and/or Microsoft 365).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting workforce development programs or learners transitioning careers.
  • Experience using adult learning best practices and inclusive, learner-centered instruction.
  • Ability to provide structured coaching around study plans, pacing, and exam scheduling.
